"Once a small fishing village in the Arabian Gulf, Dubai shares the spotlight with some of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. One of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, the city is home to more than 200 nationalities and offers an unforgettable experience to all visitors. Whether it is by the banks of the Creek, or at the top of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, Dubai lives and breathes a sense of possibility and innovation. And with an unparalleled coastline, beautiful desert and magnificent cityscapes, memories are just waiting to be made here.
Welcome to exploring my favourite city where I share my favourite spots in Dubai.
There are many neighbourhoods and places to visit in Dubai. Some of the must seen neighbourhoods in Dubai are Palm Jumeriah, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina,Bur Dubai, Jumeriah and many more.
In my website the following are my favourite places to visit:
The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world and a global icon. Truly a feat of engineering, the building represents the conceptual heart and soul of the city of Dubai. At 828m tall, this magnificent structure is located next to Dubai Mall and has drawn visitors from all over the world since opening in 2010. TheThe Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is a popular promenade where you can shop, dine and stroll by the sea. The buzzing beachside boulevard – which is free to visit – offers the opportunity to satisfy your retail cravings with an array of fashion, home and handicraft shops and boutiques. Featured shopping attractions include gift shop I Love Dubai, luxury coats store Manzari and a host of other international retailers. Another highlight is the variety of outdoor pop-up markets where you can check out stalls offering jewellery, food treats and homewares, as well as take in performances by street entertainers. This 1.7km-long strip is worth visiting for the whole family – no matter your age, there's always something to see and do. unmatched Burj Khalifa view can be taken in from not one but two observations decks – the two-storey At the Top on the 124th and 125th floors, as well as one of the world’s highest observation decks (555m) on the 148th floor.
Dubai Mall is the world’s largest destination for shopping, entertainment and leisure, located next to the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Featuring over 1,200 retail stores, two major department stores and hundreds of food and beverage outlets, Dubai Mall covers more than 1 million sqm – an area equivalent to 200 football pitches. For lovers of high fashion, over 70 signature outlets beckon your attention, including retailers such as Bloomingdale’s and Galeries Lafayette, the first in the Middle East. For haute couture, head to Fashion Avenue where you can experience the latest collections from world renowned designers and brands such as Versace, Burberry and more.
Take a short drive to the mountain town of Hatta for an incredible range of adventures. The rugged exclave is the perfect escape for thrill-seekers thanks to Hatta Wadi Hub, an activity centre with something to suit every adventurer, both big and small. Rent a mountain bike and tackle 52km of trails, colour-coded according to difficulty, or hike Hatta’s rolling peaks at your own pace. Visitors to Hatta can also book alternative thrills such as archery or axe-throwing, or try zorbing nearby where you’ll roll downhill inside a giant transparent ball. There's even a huge 12m-high water slide where you can splash down, cool off and practise your flips.
